The Pagan Calendar

Posting tomorrow’s entry tonight as I have to work the morning shift tomorrow.

Festival of Sapientia (Roman), the goddess of wisdom and reason. They celebrate her today because this is their last chance to experience human reason before a very different festival — which is to follow tomorrow.

Holy Day of Thoth (Egyptian), the god of wisdom, inventor of writing, patron of scribes and the divine mediator. He is most often represented as a man with the head of an ibis, holding a scribal palette and reed pen.
