It is really hard to write these things without sounding like a complete loser or egotistical.  Hopefully, I come across as neither.

I am a thirty something Aussie lesbian geek who is living in the suburbs with my girlfriend and my two dogs Caleb (German Shepherd mix) and Rory (beagle) and works in IT doing customer support for the online advertising industry.  I can best be summed up as a sci-fi geek, a skeptic-in-training and lover of bad disaster movies.  To make sure I don’t get beaten up for being a complete nerd, I have a brown belt in Kung Fu.
